7th Annual Rodney Sparks Memorial Golf Scramble Sets Record

Canonsburg, PA - November 17, 2021 - Earlier this year, the Marcellus & Utica Gas Suppliers, Services, and Manufacturers Association (MUG) hosted the 7th Annual Rodney Sparks Memorial Golf Scramble presented by Precision Pipe Rentals. This event is held the 2nd Thursday of July at Oglebay Resort which features a mixer the night before. This year’s event saw a record number of participants which sold out both the Jones and Palmer golf courses for the first time in the history of the event. MUG selected two West Virginia-based organizations to be the beneficiaries from the event this year: Chestnut Mountain Ranch and On Eagles’ Wings Therapeutic Horsemanship who each received $10,000 donations. The entire MUG Board of Directors would like to thank all who have been part of the organization over the years and attended this event. In just 7 years, this event has grown from under 10 foursomes to 50+ foursomes.
